Ciderworks is unique: a small craft cidery making authentic low-intervention, natural-style ciders, 100% certified organic, 100% Salt Spring Island-grown and made without adding sugar at any stage.
The Ciderworks lounge/tasting room, patio and picnic area overlook our orchard of 450+ apple varieties, with expansive views of the Salish Sea, the Gulf Islands and coastal mountains. It’s a spectacular setting for sampling our ciders while enjoying a food menu of pizzas, other savoury items and our legendary apple fritters.
All of our ciders are single orchard, using apples only from one Salt Spring organic orchard, most from our own orchard. We favour dry ciders, as we want you to taste our apples. That’s also why most of our ciders contain nothing but apple, although we do make creative use of other organic ingredients grown on-site, including blackberries, stinging nettles and hops.
